Description

Calcium cyanamide nitrate is a Microgranular fertilizer (N) 19.8% used during the resting phases of the soil.

Package of Kg.5

Features:
Characteristic compound that undergoes a series of chemical transformations in the soil: calcium cyanamide > cyanamide > urea > ammonium salt. This results in a series of typical properties:
1) gradual availability of nitrogen as the described reactions take place.
2) The transformation is influenced by the soil pH (+faster in neutral/acidic environments + slower in alkaline environments).
3) The lime content that forms calcium carbonate acts as a corrective for acidic soils.
4) Multi-year treatments with calcium cyanamide show substantial improvements in the natural fertility of the soil.

Calcium cyanamide also exhibits a multi-faceted action against fungi, young weeds, insects, and other animal pests present in the soil (mole crickets, moles, May beetles, etc.)

Usage Period:
From January to April and from September to December.

Dosage and Application Methods:
Calcium cyanamide nitrate is applied to all crops for which the fertilizer is known to be suitable, particularly used on vegetable crops, lawns, and for the preparation of potting soils.

The distribution should be uniform and preferably carried out on moist soil.

Calcium cyanamide should be distributed 2-3 weeks before sowing or transplanting the crops.

The use as a cover, i.e., in the presence of crops, can be done in such a way that the product does not come into contact with leaves, stems, or roots.

The application rates are for vegetable crops of 8-10 Kg per 100 sqm while for lawns of 3-5 Kg per 100 sqm.

For the preparation of potting soils, distribute over the different layers of plant residues, 20-25 cm thick and previously moistened, 150-200 g/sqm of calcium cyanamide.

After 4-6 months, the potting soil is ready to be distributed and used as an excellent organic fertilizer.
