INSECTOSEC is made from 100% diatomaceous earth, a natural amorphous fossil flour derived from diatom deposits.
Pests, such as the red mite found in poultry farms, as well as crawling insects like silverfish, ants, and other annoying pests, become enveloped in the powder or are dusted with it during application. The active ingredient attracts the fat present in the cuticle, weakening it and causing the insect to dehydrate, leading to death within a few hours (low temperatures and high humidity may delay the effect of INSECTOSEC by 1-2 days).

INSECTOSEC is a powder preparation with insecticidal-acaricidal action to be used against certain species that can infest various environments (civil, farms), such as ants (Lasius Niger), red poultry mite (Dermanyssus gallinae), and cat flea (Ctenocephalides felis).

RED POULTRY MITE IN FARMS

Make coverings, lower edges of coverings, aviary walkways, and all points where mites can hide accessible, and spread the powder to form a well-visible flat layer (renew application if necessary). Application can also be done in the presence of animals.
Quantity to apply

Use 30-50 g/m² depending on the surface to be treated (30 g/m² for cages – 50 g/m² for aviaries).

CRAWLING INSECTS LIKE ANTS

INSECTOSEC can be used both in domestic environments and in processing industries such as bakeries and mills.

Quantity to apply: Use 30-50 g/m², taking care to dust the hiding places and pathways of the insects.
Use about 5-10 g of product to create a barrier 0.2 cm high and 0.5-2 cm wide.
