Description
LARVMETH® TABLETS is an effervescent larvicide. It is extremely effective against all species of mosquitoes (including the Asian Tiger Mosquito).
LARVMETH® TABLETS works through ingestion and contact, mimicking the effect of juvenile hormone that prevents the larva from transforming into an adult. When used at the right times and in the correct manner, it shows a certain selectivity towards predators and hyperparasites.
The unique tablet formulation makes LARVMETH® TABLETS safe and easy to use. In the fight against mosquitoes, black flies, and midges, it is sufficient to distribute the tablets in areas where larvae reside, such as stagnant water like drains, fountains, tires, septic tanks, pits, catch basins, treatment plants, purification tanks, small bodies of water, ditches, ponds, channels, and generally where there are accumulations of water.
Depending on the organic load of the water, the recommended doses are:
– for clear water: 1 tablet of 2 g every 1000/2000 L / 1 tablet of 0.5 g every 250/500 L
– for water with a high organic load: 1 tablet of 2 g every 500/1000 L / 1 tablet of 0.5 g every 125/250 L
– for confined spaces with a high organic load, such as drains: 1 tablet of 2 g for 40 L / 1 tablet of 0.5 g for 10 L
Treat regularly from March to October in potential areas where larvae may be present. Repeat treatment every 2-4 weeks depending on temperatures and water cleanliness and in case of persistent rains.
