MOSQUITOREX is an innovative ready-to-use liquid for controlling mosquito larvae and pupae in stagnant water. The product, made from oils and plant-based substances, adds a thin and uniform film on the treated water bodies that spreads instantly without interruption in the presence of obstacles. The low surface tension of this film prevents mosquito larvae and pupae from reaching atmospheric oxygen, resulting in their drowning and hindering the oviposition of adult females.

The product is free from active insecticidal substances and silicones, does not alter the chemical-physical characteristics of the water, but constitutes a physical barrier to the juvenile forms of mosquitoes and disrupts the reproductive capabilities of adults.

Laboratory studies have confirmed both the effectiveness of the product (100% mortality of larvae in less than 48 hours) and the persistence (up to 4 weeks) of MOSQUITOREX. Finally, ecotoxicological studies have established that MOSQUITOREX poses no danger to the environment as it is biodegradable.

APPLICATION FIELDS

MOSQUITOREX is suitable for application in larval development sites in civil and urban environments. It is introduced into stagnant water bodies and generally still waters (drainage systems, gutters, saucers, containers, tires, downspouts, septic tanks, cisterns, and rainwater collection tanks, drainage channels, water basins, etc.) where mosquitoes could develop.

Doses and Usage Instructions

Shake the product well before use and apply at a rate of 1-5 mL / sqm of water surface. Repeat the treatment after 3 weeks in the case of stagnant water with a high organic load and 4 weeks in the case of stagnant water with a low organic load, taking into account the different needs and operational situations.
