Durone Nero III cherry tree in a 20 cm pot. Medium-sized fruits. Firm dark red flesh. Slow to bear fruit, average productivity not consistent.
Ripens in late June.
WARNING!!! THE PLANTS WILL BE PRUNED FOR TRANSPORT.
SWEET CHERRY (Prunus avium).
(Rosaceae) Productive in all regions. Grows in all soils except clayey and overly wet ones.
Pruning:
Should be done every year at the end of winter before budding and should focus on balancing the vegetation and thinning the center of the tree. Avoid removing thick branches. A light summer pruning in June is also recommended, removing only the most vigorous suckers that have grown in the upper and inner part of the tree. Planting distance from 5x4 to 6x6.
Pollination:
Non-self-fertile cherry varieties require pollinator varieties nearby to fruit properly.
