Fruit plant Apice Piante RAILWAY CHERRY. Pot diameter of 20 cm. Very large, slightly pointed fruits, bright red. Crisp, sweet, and juicy flesh. Long stem. A reference variety among the most widely planted. Ripens in mid-June.
WARNING!!! THE PLANTS WILL BE PRUNED FOR TRANSPORT.
SWEET CHERRY (Prunus avium).
(Rosaceae) Productive in all regions. Grows in all soils except clayey and overly wet ones.
Pruning:
Should be done every year at the end of winter before budding and is limited to balancing the vegetation and thinning the center of the tree. Avoid removing large branches. A light summer pruning in June is also recommended, exclusively removing the most vigorous suckers that have grown in the upper and inner part of the tree. Planting distance from 5x4 to 6x6.
Pollination:
Non-self-fertile cherry varieties require pollinator varieties nearby to fruit properly.
