Red Horse Pomegranate - v. 20 x 16 cm - Apice Piante

A variety related to the traditional “Dente di cavallo”, which differs by its thin skin, a better arrangement of the segments, and the presence of a thin placenta that facilitates the separation of the arils. It features a moderately vigorous and hardy tree, with excellent productivity, similar to Wonderful. The fruits are medium-sized, between Acco and Wonderful, weighing up to 600 g, with a higher juice yield than Wonderful due to the thin skin. The skin has a yellow-orange base color with a pink overlay, very similar to Mollar de Elche. The arils are intensely red, large, aromatic, and juicy, with a sweet taste, over 16o Brix, and low acidity around 0.70%, expressed as citric acid. The seed is very small and moderately hard. It matures between late September and early October, about a month earlier than Wonderful, and withstands handling well. Excellent suitability for cold storage, lasting over 5 months like Wonderful.
