1 Bulb of Val di Chiana Elephant Garlic

1 Bulb of Val di Chiana variety Elephant Garlic, a type of garlic with a sweeter flavor and much less pungent than regular garlic (it does not contain Allicin) and for this reason it is referred to as 'the kissing garlic'.

It is much easier to digest, rich in phenols and other valuable nutrients that make it a great ally for our health.

Its bulbs are larger than those of regular garlic and can weigh over 500 grams. Each bulb consists of a variable number of cloves ranging from 2 to 6, tightly packed together with a characteristic curvature on the outer part. They are amber-colored, much larger than common garlic, and can weigh up to 70/80 grams each.

It is planted from September to October.

The harvest takes place from May to June.
