Lemon basil can reach a height of 50 cm and has light green leaves with a strong lemon aroma. It is one of the varieties that tolerates low temperatures best, although they should not drop below 12°. It is highly recommended for seasoning fish dishes, pasta, risottos, fruit salads, and ice creams. It should be pinched like Genovese basil before it flowers. It can be grown both in pots and in the ground.
