The Napoletano del Fiume Friggitello pepper is a sweet variety typical of Naples, also known as Puparulillo ro ciumm (of the river), renowned for its flavor and high digestibility.
The thin fruits, about 10 cm long, have an excellent aroma and very fine flesh; they are used immature, green, when they are still tender, and are mainly consumed fried.
