Red celery has ancient origins and has been cultivated for over 300 years in the Piedmont countryside. It stands out from classic varieties due to the violet color at the base of the stalks, its flavor with a characteristic delicate almond aroma, and its intense fragrance. It is transplanted from April to June for harvest from July to October. Like all celery, it appreciates a very generous and repeated organic fertilization during the growth period.
