Description
The Sweet Potato (American potato) Evangeline is the sweetest, very tasty, and rich in beta-carotene and vitamins.
It produces tubers over 300 g, with fairly uniform size (2-4 kg of tubers per plant).
The leaves are green, occasionally variegated with purple. It has a pink-orange skin and orange flesh.
Its sweet flavor is ideal for mashed potatoes, roasting, gnocchi, soups, and even desserts.
The plant is very hardy, adaptable to various environmental conditions, and easy to grow.
The leaves are also edible and can be used in salads.
Harvesting takes place between September and November, before the frost.
It is recommended to keep the tubers in a ventilated and dark place for at least 2-3 weeks before using them to enjoy the best quality.
