Vermiculite - 100 Lt - Floragard

Natural Vermiculite is a specific morphological variation of mica. This mineral, subjected to thermal treatment, loses its combined water and expands, resulting in an excellent insulating material in granular form.

Characteristics:
• Granulometry: 80% between 0.5 and 4 mm
• Bulk density = 105 kg/m3 +/- 15%
• Total porosity: 95%
Mineral characteristics
• Vermiculite is free from impurities, sterile, and chemically inert.
• It is lightweight: about 100 kg/m3
• Due to its mineral origin, it is non-combustible and rot-proof.
• The expansion process is irreversible, and therefore the product maintains its characteristics over time.
• SILVER® Vermiculite does not contain asbestos.


Uses:

- Covering of cellular containers (apply a layer of 2-4 mm over the seed and then proceed with watering)
