Vermiculite - 100 Lt - Floragard

Vermiculite in its natural state is a particular morphological variation of mica. This mineral, subjected to heat treatment, loses the combined water and expands, giving rise to an excellent insulating material in granular form.

Characteristics:
• Granulometry: 80% between 0.5 and 4 mm
• Density = 105 kg/m3 +/- 15%
• Total porosity: 95%
Characteristics of the mineral
• Vermiculite is free from impurities, sterile and chemically inert.
• It is light: approximately 100 kg/m3
• Given its mineral origin it is non-combustible and rot-proof.
• The expansion process is irreversible and therefore the product maintains its characteristics unchanged over time.
• Vermiculite SILVER® does not contain asbestos.


Uses:

- Covering of the alveolar containers (spread a 2-4 mm layer to cover the seed and then proceed with watering)
