Bassano Broccoli has been cultivated for centuries in Veneto, with the inflorescence and tender leaves used in cooking.
The plant is similar to a medium vigor cauliflower.
It is transplanted from late July to all of August, for harvest from late autumn to deep winter, after 120-150 days.
It is harvested when the head reaches approximately 15 cm in diameter.
Once harvested, the plant can be uprooted.
