A typical variety of Friulian tradition, considered one of the finest chicories. Late cycle. Fleshy, velvety leaves of garnet red color. Very resistant to cold, frost enhances its flavor and crunchiness. Forced like the late Treviso variety. Then, the plant is cleaned, and the delicious “rose” is consumed, remaining sweet and tasty. Harvested in 130/150 days after transplanting. Slow Food Presidium.
