Common Sorb - ancient variety fruit tree in a 20 cm pot. When fully grown, it can reach heights of up to 15 m or more, and is very long-lived.
The fruit is a subglobose or pear-shaped pome, measuring 2 to 4 cm in length, with a yellow-reddish color and speckled, turning brown at maturity; the flesh is greenish and sweet, with angular brown seeds. The fruits ripen in autumn. With a tart flavor, rich in malic acid and vitamin C, they become sweet when partially dried, with a soft, mealy flesh.
