Marmande Yellow Tomato var. Ananas F1 is an heirloom variety, with a medium vigorous plant that is highly productive.
The yellow fruits are ribbed and flattened, weighing 150 grams, with soft flesh and thin skin. The flavor is very delicate. The plant is compact, with leaves that have a characteristic ‘rolled’ appearance.
It has excellent tolerance to blossom end rot. If larger fruits are desired, it is possible to thin the developing clusters, leaving only 5 fruits per truss.
It is suitable for open field cultivation, in greenhouses, and in pots. In the kitchen, it is ideal for salads and sauces.
