Navelina Orange Isa - v. 24 cm - Apice Piante

The Navelina Orange Isa has a compact growth habit. It withstands cold temperatures down to -7°C. Large fruits with a thin orange skin. Juicy, sweet, and very refreshing flesh. Fragrant white flowers in spring, with fruit maturity in late autumn.

These trees cannot be grown in open ground outside temperate and mild climate zones. However, they are particularly suited for cultivation in pots. They are excellent ornamental plants due to their beautiful, persistent foliage, with glossy deep green on top and matte underneath. Slow-growing, they require minimal pruning to remove poorly positioned branches.

For planting in pots, prepare a mix consisting of 1/3 garden soil, 1/3 peat, and 1/3 potting soil, which, on a bed of gravel at the bottom of the pot, will ensure drainage. During the growing season, watering is necessary. Twice a month, the addition of an appropriate fertilizer will be sufficient.

During the warm season, a sheltered, semi-sunny exposure is best; avoid permanent shade. In winter, the plants should stay in a bright location, protected from frost, but without excessive temperatures (maximum 15°C). A light watering twice a month will be sufficient.
