Striped melon with early slice Italian Magnificenza F1. It has superior organoleptic qualities compared to common traditional striped varieties. The fruits, weighing about 1.5 kg, have a pronounced striping and sweet, juicy flesh. It is among the easiest varieties to cultivate with organic products, thanks to its natural resistance to powdery mildew, aphids, fusarium, and reduced susceptibility to downy mildew. This variety can be grown both in open fields and in greenhouses. By transplanting Magnificenza and Django (or Bacir, which are later), you can harvest melons from the garden for over a month. At maturity, the skin turns yellow and a slight crack appears between the stem and the fruit. Harvest as soon as a small crack is visible at the base of the stem. Magnificenza is an exclusive variety from Orto Mio.
