Description

Pack of 6 plants:

Costiera variety is the best hybrid "all pulp" Sorrento tomato. Truly amazing for salads, among the tastiest, approaching the quality of Honey Moon. In terms of taste quality, it can be compared to the "velluto" tomato from Canavese, but it is much more productive and resistant. The fruits, weighing over 300g, have the characteristic pink color with a green shoulder, thin skin, and the sweet, intense flavor of old-fashioned tomatoes. The plant is vigorous, productive, and provides good coverage. It performs well both in greenhouses and open fields. It produces even in the hottest periods and is tolerant to cracking. Costiera is naturally resistant to major root diseases, nematodes, and TSWV virus. Exclusive Orto Mio variety.

Plants in 10 cm pots and grafted in 14 cm pots

The new Rosalinda hybrid variety of the 'Sorrentino' type, with a very vigorous plant that improves its productivity and consistency, while maintaining good flavor. The large fruits can exceed 600g in weight. They are firm and fleshy, with low acidity. Compared to the ancient Rosa di Sorrento, it has less 'waste' due to its uniform ripening, without green areas on the fruit's shoulder. Excellent in salads, superb for sauces. Fertilize with NPK fertilizers, avoiding excessive nitrogen, which can imbalance the plant, leading to vegetative imbalances and repercussions on fruit size and number.
