Description

Calcium cyanamide nitrate is a microgranular fertilizer (N) 19.8% that is used during the resting phases of the soil.

5kg pack

Characteristics:
Characteristic compound that undergoes a series of chemical transformations in the soil: calcium cyanamide > cyanamide > urea > ammonium salt. From this derives a series of typical properties:
1) gradual availability of nitrogen as the reactions described take place.
2) The transformation is influenced by the soil pH (+fast in neutral/acid environment + slow in alkaline environment.
3) The lime content which forms calcium carbonate acts as a corrective for acid soils.
4) Multi-year treatments with calcium cyanamide show substantial improvements in the natural fertility of the soil.

Calcium cyanamide also has a multipurpose action against fungi, young weeds, insects and other animal parasites present in the soil (mole cricket, mole, cockchafer, etc.)

Period of employment:
From January to April and from September to December.

Dosage and Method of Use:
Calcium cyanamide nitrate is applied on all crops for which the fertilizer is notoriously indicated, in particular it is used on horticultural crops, lawns and for the preparation of compost.

Distribution must be uniform and preferably carried out on moist soil.

Calcium cyanamide should be distributed 2-3 weeks before sowing or transplanting crops.

Use in coverage, i.e. in the presence of crops, can be carried out by operating in such a way that the product does not come into contact with leaves, stems or roots.

The doses of use are for horticultural crops 8-10 kg per 100 m2 while for lawns 3-5 kg per 100 m2.

To prepare the compost, distribute 150-200 g/m2 of calcium cyanamide on the different layers of previously moistened plant residues, 20-25 cm thick.

After 4-6 months the soil is ready to be distributed and used as an excellent organic fertilizer.
