Hydrated lime is an aerial binder obtained by cooking limestone with a very high CaCo3 (calcium carbonate) content and then quenching it with water.
Colacem makes this material available, produced at the Acquasparta (TR) plant, as Hydrated Lime CL 70-S, available both loose and in 25 kg bags, and as an Aerial Binder based on hydrated lime, both loose and in 33 kg bags.
Hydrated lime CL 70-S complies with the European standard EN 459-1:2001

- Mortars for construction
- Stabilization of embankments for road uses
- Purification
- Industrial uses
