Characteristics

MOSQUITOREX is an innovative ready-to-use liquid for the control of mosquito larvae and pupae in still/stagnant water. The product, based on oils and substances of vegetable origin, adds a thin and uniform film to the treated water bodies that spreads instantly without interruption even in the presence of obstacles. The low surface tension of this film prevents mosquito larvae and pupae from reaching atmospheric oxygen, leading to their drowning and hindering the oviposition of adult females.

The product is free of active insecticidal substances and silicones, does not alter the chemical-physical characteristics of the water, but rather constitutes a physical barrier to the juvenile forms of mosquitoes and alters the reproductive capacity of adults.

Laboratory studies have confirmed both the efficacy of the product (100% larval mortality in less than 48 hours) and the persistence (up to 4 weeks) of MOSQUITOREX. Finally, ecotoxicological studies have shown that MOSQUITOREX poses no danger to the environment as it is biodegradable.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

MOSQUITOREX is suitable for application in larval development sites in civil and urban environments. It is introduced into stagnant water bodies and still water in general (manholes, gratings, saucers, containers, tires, gutters, septic tanks, rainwater collection tanks and basins, drainage channels, water basins, etc.) where mosquitoes could develop.

Dosage and instructions for use

Shake the product well before use and apply at a rate of 1-5 mL/sqm of water surface. Repeat the treatment after 3 weeks in the case of still/stagnant water with a high organic load and 4 weeks in the case of still/stagnant water with a low organic load, taking into account different needs and operating situations.
