Smooth green Salanova lettuce is the highly digestible multi-leaf lettuce. Quick to prepare: all the leaves are separated with one cut.
It has compact tufts, and good pre-flowering tolerance.
It facilitates cultivation with organic products, due to the natural resistance to Bremia and lettuce aphid.
Fertilize generously.
Late ripening (40-70 days). Can also be grown in greenhouses, for winter harvest.
It is among the varieties most suitable for harvesting by "peeling" the outer leaves (see description in cultivation advice).
