Broccoli has been cultivated for centuries in Veneto, where the inflorescence and the tender leaves in which it is wrapped are used in cooking.
The plant is similar to a medium-vigorous cauliflower.
It is transplanted from the end of July to the end of August, for harvesting from late autumn to late winter, after 120-150 days.
It is harvested when the head reaches approximately 15 cm in diameter.
Once harvested, the plant can be uprooted.
