Fico Fiorone Filacciano - v. 20 cm - Plants Apice

Fico Fillacciano CL B5. White-skinned variety. Medium-sized, vigorous tree with long, erect branches, 40% five-lobed leaves, 50% three-lobed leaves, 10% whole. Production of only large figs from 15/06 to 5/07, intense green skin tending to white when ripe, globose pear-shaped or spinning top shape, juicy, sweet, pink to amber pulp, medium neck, short stalk adhering to the branch. Large fruit 100/110 gr resistant to handling with abundant and concentrated harvest.

The cultivation of FIG is extremely interesting and current. The fruit, much requested by the market, has high prices. The plant, typically Mediterranean, adapts to dry climates and hilly terrain, even poor and non-irrigated. No pesticide treatments are necessary, the fruit is therefore 'organic', pruning is simple, no thinning of the fruit is carried out. Planting distance from 4x4 to 5x5. In most cases there are two productions: the first fruits called FIORONI the Second ones called FORNITI or TRUE FIGS.
