Kako Vaniglia Cioccolatino (Ancient variety). Pot diameter 20 cm. Small fruit, pulp from yellow to brown, “vanilla”, edible when harvested and sweet. Small plant does not require any treatment.
Ripens in October.

Persimmon - Diospyros
(Ebenaceae) It is also an ornamental tree. The orange fruits remain on the branches for a long time. Harvesting takes place from mid-October to early November. Not very demanding on the nature of the soil and exposure, it prefers sheltered places in the northern areas. Young trees fear strong frosts. 'Tipo-Loto di Romagna': astringent when harvested, the fruits should be eaten halved, about a month later, soft and sweet. 'Vanilla': sweet, not astringent when harvested if pollinated, it is eaten hard. 'Hana fuiju': called persimmon apple, large, quadrangular always edible (not astringent) when harvested, it is eaten with the consistency of an apple.
