The Fuji Apple is a variety originally from Japan, rounded shape, light red skin typically streaked, on a yellow background. Crisp and juicy white pulp, extremely sweet and aromatic flavor. It is easy to store, requires little treatment. Ripens mid-October.
(Rosaceae) Rustic, it adapts to various environments, even mountainous ones. The plant lends itself to being grown both in volume: vase, spindle, column, etc.; and in flattened forms: various types of palmette.
Pruning:
Pruning varies according to the cultivation, in any case care will be taken to eliminate the suckers located in the upper part of the crown, to allow a good development of the vegetation located lower down and to ensure a right number of flower buds. It is also advisable to carry out a light summer pruning in June.
Thinning:
Planting distance from 5x3 to 4x4 for volumetric forms, from 4x1 to 5x3 for flattened forms. Flowering is late, it is good to plant more varieties to improve productivity.
