A very well-known variety of artichoke, with a refined flavour, which harmonises bitter and sweet taste. It has compact, green, conical heads with purple hues. Tender and crunchy consistency, excellent raw in dips or salads, but also cooked in a stew with lamb, pasta, rice, fresh cheeses. Advice: transplant in holes at a distance of
one meter apart. Avoid water stagnation and protect from frost.
