GROWING AND CARE:
Pepper grass is an annual plant that is easy to grow, even in pots, and loves sunny exposure. It is happy with less fertile soil but requires that it be well drained. It can grow up to over 35 cm in height. It flowers from June to September.

IN THE KITCHEN:
Compared to S. montana, domestic savory has a more delicate flavor. It is perfect to accompany cheese-based dishes, fish, meat, legumes and eggs. It is also excellent for flavoring soups and savory pies.
