Autumn Fennel Leonardo (ex Guttuso) F1 - 9 plants - Orto Mio

Autumn fennel Leonardo (formerly Guttuso), this new variety, selected over years of testing, combines great resistance to bolting (it is the most tolerant to pre-flowering in the range) with great quality of the heads. Healthy and adaptable to different growing conditions, it has a round, white head, of good size and excellent organoleptic quality. It has a rounded shape even in transplants from July to early August. The pulp is crunchy and without fibrousness, with a very pleasant aroma. In fertile soils it easily exceeds 600 g in weight. It is harvested after about 70-90 days from transplanting (70-80 days in summer and 80-90 days in autumn winter). In mid-summer transplants, shade the seedlings for 15-20 days after planting and irrigate constantly, avoiding stagnation. Fertilize generously before transplanting and during growth for optimal results.
