Horse Tooth Pomegranate - V. 20 x 16 cm - Top Plants

Variety similar to the traditional “Dente di cavallo”, from which it differs for its thin skin, a better arrangement of the segments and the presence of a thin placenta that facilitates the separation of the arils. It has a medium vigorous and rustic tree, with excellent productivity, similar to Wonderful. The fruits have a medium size, between Acco and Wonderful, up to 600 g., with a higher juice yield than Wonderful, due to the thin skin. The skin has a yellow-orange background color and pink blush, very similar to Mollar de Elche. The arils are deep red, large, aromatic and juicy, sweet tasting, over 16o Brix, with low acidity around 0.70%, expressed as citric acid. The seed is very small and medium hard. It ripens between the end of September and the beginning of October, about a month before Wonderful, resists handling well. Excellent aptitude for cold storage, over 5 months like Wonderful.
