The Friggitello Napoletano del Fiume pepper is a typical Neapolitan sweet variety, also known as Puparulillo ro ciumm (of the river), renowned for its flavour and high digestibility.
The thin berries, about 10 cm long, have an excellent aroma and very fine pulp; they are used unripe, green, when still tender, mainly consumed fried.
The Neapolitan river friggitello plant is very vigorous and super productive.
