Aglione Plant Val di Chiana Garlic Elephant Garlic, a rare product of excellence, characterized by a decidedly more delicate flavor than other varieties of garlic.
It has enormous dimensions, being able to reach 800 grams in weight.
Remove the flower stalk when it appears (usually in May). Harvest between June and July, when the vegetation turns yellow.
Under stress, it can form a single bulb like onions, which does not affect its quality.
