Yellow onion bulbs, Sturon variety, a high-yielding variety that produces round, bronze-coloured bulbs 8-10 cm in diameter, which, under favourable conditions, are suitable for long storage.
Caliber 14/21: approximately 300/350 bulblets per Kg
Sowing: October to March.
Harvest: mid-June to July
Planting distance: 5-10 cm in the row; 20-25 cm between rows (40 to 90 bulblets/sqm, depending on the desired bulb size)
In case of autumn planting, a certain percentage of bolting is to be considered normal as this is a long-day variety (for spring sowing).
