Description

Flower lawn seeds, quick establishment, very decorative.

500g pack (for 20 sq m)

Flower lawn with a good aesthetic appearance and highly decorative, quick establishment and high planting density. Inside the box, you will find a bag of lawn seeds and a sachet of daisy seeds to spread on the lawn once the turf seeding is complete.

COMPOSITION:
40% Perennial ryegrass
35% Perennial ryegrass
20% Red fescue
4.8% Kentucky bluegrass
0.2% Bellis perennis (common daisy)

PRACTICAL TIPS FOR CREATING THE LAWN:
- Work the soil to a depth of about 20 cm, removing stones and weeds (also use herbicides in more severe cases) and then level it to prevent harmful water stagnation;
- Refine the clods on the surface and perform an initial rolling;
- Broadcast the lawn seed in Spring (April-May) or Autumn (September-October), making crossed passes to favor a better distribution of the seed; the sowing rate for optimal results is approximately 30-35 gr/sqm.
- Cover the seed (about 2 mm) with river sand or potting soil and perform a second light rolling.
- Water the seeded surface moderately every day to maintain constant humidity and to prevent the formation of a surface crust until the seedlings emerge;
- Make the first cut on dry ground when the lawn has reached a height of 10 cm and maintain a cutting height of no less than 5 cm over time, removing the mown grass. The daisy is a flower with a rather long germinative cycle (biennial), so its sowing allows for flowering in the following season, or at least several months after the lawn emerges;
- Water as needed, avoiding doing so during the hottest hours of the day, and provide adequate fertilization during the cooler periods of the year, preferably using slow-release fertilizers.
