The straw our litter is made of comes from cereals grown in Italian fields. Durum and soft wheat, spelt and barley are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and irrigation and the straw is processed solely mechanically.

Our straw is mainly used as a natural and eco-sustainable bedding for horses during the stabling phase.

With an absorption capacity of 200% of its weight, it remains dry for a long time and provides maximum comfort.

Characteristics:

• High absorbency : This horse bedding has a higher absorbency level than wood shaving bedding.
• Dust-free : Thanks to the special production process, which includes dust removal before packaging, we can ensure that the litter is 100% dust-free, making the litter ideal for horses with allergies or respiratory problems.
• Ecological and eco-sustainable : After use it becomes fertile manure and can be used in the field, unlike normal wood shavings litter. Free disposal product, in line with Legislative Decree 75/2010
  
• Also ideal for mares and foals : The defibration process gives softness, making it the perfect bedding for mares and foals' stalls.

How to use?

First Use:

It is important to gradually accustom the horse to the new litter: during the daily cleaning, integrate the current litter with our litter in small quantities, until reaching the complete replacement within 7-10 days.

Yield:

1 bag of 13 kg is perfect for 4 square meters. We recommend using 4 packs for a horse box.
