Red Garlic Sultop variety "Rosso di Sulmona improved" type, of Italian origin from transplant. Vigorous plant, medium-late with stem for dry harvesting. Excellent shelf life. Free from garlic virus and nematodes. Variety with stem, trim the main stem when the inflorescence appears.
They are certified bulbs. Cal. 45/55

between 8 and 10 quintals per hectare. It is sown from October to FebruaryPlanting distance:
cm.12 on the row cm.40 between the rows for an investment of approximately 200,000-220,000 plants/haEach head contains approximately 7-10 cloves depending on the variety (the red one up to 14-15, but it is advisable to discard the smaller ones).
Production and Collection:
It is harvested from mid-June to July. Green production 150-170 quintals/ha (remove 20% from dry)Advice:
Harvest garlic when the foliage is about 2/3 yellow.For garlic to dry out, it takes about 15/20 days after being harvested fresh.
