Pettinari Black Beans. Origin: Mexico. They are medium-sized legumes, oval in shape and bright ebony in color with white hilum. Contents: 500 Gr.

Directions for use (preparation and use):
Ideal for soups, as a side dish for meat and rice dishes, for spicy sauces or as a single dish rich in spices and vegetables.
They are widely used in Mexican cuisine. They have a tasty spicy and sweetish flavor.
Preparation method:
After having washed the beans thoroughly, soak them in cold water for 4/6 hours. Replace the water and put them on the stove, preferably in a clay pot. Bring to the boil and continue cooking over low heat for about an hour. In a pressure cooker, about 20 minutes from the start of the whistle are sufficient. Add salt towards the end of cooking. Cooking times are indicative as they may vary depending on the variety and origin of the product and the type of preparation you want to obtain.
Advice:
During the soaking phase the water may take on a particular bluish colour due to the dark pigment contained in the external tegument.
