Bayer SERESTO is an anti-parasitic collar against fleas and ticks with some special features. It uses an innovative combination of materials that allows for the controlled release of low doses of active ingredients for up to 8 months. This offers high protection for the cat that is not limited to killing fleas and ticks, but also acts by repelling ticks before they can bite, which facilitates the protection of the animal against diseases transmitted by these parasites.
Bayer SERESTO protects the surrounding environment, after application to the animal, from the development of flea larvae for 10 weeks and is active against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.
STRENGTHS:
- Up to 8 months of protection;
- Against fleas and ticks.
HOW IT WORKS:
Bayer Seresto was developed on the basis of an innovative combination of materials, called “Polymer Matrix”, and with active ingredients with proven activity:
- Made possible by Bayer's expertise in materials science and healthcare;
- It offers a controlled and constant release of its two active ingredients for up to 8 months, providing your cat with the continuous protection it needs.
HOW TO APPLY:
1) Remove Bayer Seresto from the wrapper inside the box and unroll the collar;
2) Make sure you have removed any residue from the plastic connectors left inside the collar;
3) After placing it around the cat's neck, push one end of the collar through the loop;
4) Adjust the collar around the neck, without tightening too much, until there is two fingers of space left;
5) Be careful not to fasten the collar too loosely: the cat could slip it off its head;
6) Once the optimal size has been reached, cut off the excess portion of the collar if it exceeds 2 cm.
Collar fit should be checked and adjusted regularly in rapidly growing kittens. Do not treat kittens younger than 10 weeks.
