Description
If you want to experience so many emotions, you will have to browse these pages... and dream!
It is one of the best-selling Belleville stories and is very often the first of the series to be purchased. We can also recommend it as a first read since it is all written in capital letters.
Browsing through the pages: On the first page you can paste a personal photo and write your name. The story is written in capital letters and rhymes, some of the words that refer to the world of dance have a larger font and a brighter color than the rest of the text. On each page we find colorful illustrations that portray Lia the dancer between classical dance lessons, performances at the theater and in the square and meetings with dancers of all kinds. On the last page we find a short nursery rhyme that also introduces us to the other protagonists of the stories in Belleville. The whole series is popular because it offers something new compared to traditional fairy tales. In Belleville there are no wizards, witches, dragons or princesses to save, but characters with common names who perform common jobs: children will be able to make associations with people present in their daily lives and will easily become fond of the Belleville stories so much that they will want to collect them all. And then, thanks to the rhyme, after a few readings the children will have learned the entire book by heart. The story of Lia the ballerina will immerse the little girls in the fabulous world of dance made of tutus, pink shoes, stages and lots of passion.
