Netted melon with early slice Italian Magnificenza F1. It has superior organoleptic qualities to the common traditional netted varieties. The fruits, of about 1.5 kg, have a marked netting and sweet and juicy pulp. It is among the varieties that are easiest to grow with organic products, thanks to its natural resistance to powdery mildew, aphids, fusarium and reduced susceptibility to downy mildew. Variety that can be grown both in the open field and in greenhouses. Transplanting Magnificenza and Django (or Bacir, later) at the same time will allow you to harvest melons in the garden for over a month. When ripe, the skin turns yellow and a thin crack appears between the stalk and the fruit. Harvest as soon as a small crack appears at the base of the stalk. Magnificenza is an exclusive variety of Orto Mio.
