WITH THIS PACKET OF SEEDS, YOU WILL RECEIVE A TASTY RECIPE
Sowing: FEBRUARY - APRIL
Sowing capers is not easy but the low percentage of germination of the seeds increases if sowing is done in the winter months.
In this case, sow in pots or boxes mixing the soil with peat and sand, leave outdoors in the summer and keep indoors in autumn-winter. In the following spring you can transplant directly into the ground. The caper does not tolerate water stagnation, therefore make sure it drains properly.
Harvest: MAY - SEPTEMBER
You can also try sowing directly in the cracks of dry stone walls well exposed to the sun in autumn. To increase the percentage of germination it will be a good idea to insert the seeds in a handful of moss that will protect the seed during the winter and keep it moist. The seedlings will emerge around May-June.
