Pink salt (Umbria Equitazione NATURAL HIMALAYAN MINERAL SALT) is not refined, it is extracted, washed in a saturated solution and packaged. Quickly assimilated, it has no added chemical components.
PROPERTIES OF HIMALAYAN PINK SALT:
Fossil crystalline sea salt formed in the secondary era more than 250 million years ago on the foothills of the Himalayas where there was a vast ocean dried up by the effect of light energy.
Extracted by hand from the ancient salt mines at the edge of the Himalayas (in the Khewra mines in Pakistani Kashmir) it is brought down to the valley by steam trains. It is characterized by pink dotted crystals due to the high iron content.
This salt is not subject to any refining and is free from environmental contamination, preserving its natural mineral richness. It is very pure and naturally rich in very pure mineral salts and trace elements, the same that make up our body (calcium, potassium, zinc, copper, sulfur, iron and antioxidants), it is precious for restoring balance and removing the waste that we accumulate daily.
